Night Latch

Description

A night latch can be added to doors, mostly entrance doors, to provide additional security. It consists of three parts; the lock mechanism, the catch and a cylinder lock. The mechanism is installed on the inside of the door and the catch directly opposite that on the door frame while the cylinder lock is installed on the outside of the door. The mechanism features a spring-loaded deadbolt and a thumb turn to allow easy opening and closing from the inside while the cylinder lock allows it to be opened with a key from the outside.
